What a difference a day makes! Perhaps if we were all a little kinder to Mother Nature, she’d be a little kinder to us.
Spring’s Short Waltz
Flowers gossiped their secrets
like wallflowers whisper
in hopeful anticipation.
The world was bright
with sunshine and hope.
Today Mother nature
dashed dreams of springtime splendor
like a spinster chaperone,
ignored for too long,
sending cold and snow
to remind us just who is in charge.

Indeed what a difference a day makes. Unpredictable … unlike your poetry which is always great. Keep it up. It’s always a pleasure to read.
Thanks a bunch, Rosemary!
