Emotion in Jars

Emotion seeped through
water in cracked ceramic 
finding a way out

Anger was the first
until sadness swallowed it
oozing shades of blue

Nothing filled the cracks
though salty tears tried their best
washing away pain

When the potter came
smoothing seams with tender hands
Whole again at last

Life with love renews us all
Bask in the joyous color
