Where does the time go? It’s hard for me to believe it’s been a year since we started this journey together, but here we are, one year, 2 new books, and close to 50 blog posts later. Not a bad beginning for someone who worried what she might have to say to interest people on a continuing basis. Some months may have had more entries than others, but there’s always been something to share, be it new poems, short stories, photographs, or news about books and current sales.
It feels good to know I’ve kept up with the goals I started with. It feels even better to know that there are people who keep coming back to read whatever’s new, and the best feeling comes when those of you who do visit leave your comments to let me know your reactions. Thanks to each and every one of you. Knowing there are readers out there who appreciate some of the same things I do gives me the impetus to keep writing and sharing.
I hope we can continue this journey together and that you’ll spread the word among your family and friends, the more the merrier. I’d love to know if I’ve touched you in some way, made you laugh, or got you thinking, so don’t forget to comment from time to time. Words may flow easy;
other times they are hard won,
like blood on the page.
Poets share their open wounds
to succor another’s pain.
And again, thank you all for your continued support.
