Some of you may already know me, for those who don’t let me begin by saying, “Hello! It’s nice to meet you!”

While I’ve been writing for most of my life and using a computer for the past 20 years, I still consider myself a “Computer-duh”. As I like to say, just because I can drive a car doesn’t mean I know how one works. I feel much the same about computers. I’m not a big fan of change in general. I’m of the if-it-ain’t-broke-don’t-fix-it school of thought, but I can adapt when it’s necessary. My publisher pointed out (as she’s been doing for several years) that with my third book of poetry soon to be released, I really should have a website. So here we are.

I’ll be honest (I always am), even the technophobe in me thinks it’s exciting. It’s also a little scary. I keep thinking, what can I say that people will be interested in hearing? Then I remind myself that for years I felt much the same way about my poetry and stories, and people seem to like them well enough.

It may appear in the form of poetry or photographs. It might be me sharing a short story or some happy news. It might be observational essays about things going on in the world. We’ll have to see how it goes. I expect over time it will evolve and grown on its own. I hope you’ll stop by now and then to check up on me, maybe even engage in some discussion from time to time.
