National Haiku Day
Today is National Haiku Day, chosen because haiku have 17 syllables, I suppose. I thought it would be apt to take today’s “city” prompt and write some haiku with opposing visions of the city. Enjoy!
City Haiku
Empty city streets
neon lights illuminate
black cats in the dark
Busy city streets
reflections on skyscrapers
nobody looks up
