And Here We Are
Twenty-three years gone
since the world turned upside down;
The grief still lingers.
Where once we held strong,
bonded in our common pain,
now we take pictures.
Instead of succor, we post
useless videos online.
We feed hate-mongers,
whose stupidity breeds contempt.
Together we must
care about each others' need
and love our neighbor.

We Must Not Forget
