Head Colds Suck

After a weekend with two parties in two days, my husband and I ended up with miserable head colds that just didn’t want to leave, no matter what we did. Since neither of us has been sick for a very long time, I think we forgot how nasty a cold can be, which made it worse. Needless to say, poetic thoughts were beyond me, but the past two days we seem to be coming back to our old selves. This morning, this haiku came to me, so I must be feeling better.

A nasty head cold
booked a ten day stay
I must rate five stars
