I have not forgotten the face of my father.
I see him in the mirror every day.
I hear his voice in my head and my heart.
When life gets hard I ask myself,
what would my father do.
I am who I am because of him.
I will always remember
his love, his laughter,
his kindness, his courage
I know he's watching over me.
I strive to make him as proud of me
as I always was of him.

I’d like to wish all the dads out there a very Happy Father’s Day. Being a dad isn’t easy and it often takes a back seat to moms, but you are so important to your children’s lives. I was blessed to have the best father anyone could ask for. If your children can say the same about you, I look forward to meeting them someday so we can argue over whose dad was the best.
