So we’ve made it to the end of Poetry Month. I’ve managed to write 30 poems in 30 days and I’m very proud of myself for making it to the end. Every poem might not have been a gem, but there are a few that I really like, and that’s saying something because, like most artists, I am my own toughest critic. I hope you liked the ones I’ve posted here. I hope you’ve enjoyed the videos I’ve shared of great actors reading great poetry, and that maybe they’ve kindled (or rekindled) an interest in poetry for you.

In the interest of keeping the fire lit, I’d like to share 2 final videos in celebration of National Poetry Month. Both are classics and both are read by Tom Hiddleston, who I think has a beautiful speaking voice. She Walks in Beauty is short, while The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock is longer, but in my opinion, well worth the time spent to listen. It’s been one of my most favorite poems since I first read it in the 8th grade, and I am amazed at how many times in my life lines of this poem have come up in books and movies, and just plain old conversations with friends.

Thank you all for your support. Knowing you’re out their means the world to me. Now Just sit back, listen, and enjoy.
