Since I’m not a fan of public speaking and the restrictions because of Covid 19 wouldn’t allow poetry readings anyway, my publisher came up with the idea that I should read and record a few poems at home and she’d figure ways we might put them to good use in spreading the word about Looking for the LIght: Hindsight is 2020. This is what she’s come up with so far.
I really love the way it came out (even though I’m not fond of the sound of my own voice) and I hope you will too. Let me know what you think in the comments!
Hopefully we’ll all get to share a glass or two of champagne together before too long!

Loved it! I’m pretty much a non-drinker for the reasons you mentioned. I can’t even remember the last time I had any alcohol. It’s just not a thing for me, although I also have enjoyed a good strawberry margarita or champagne in my time. Honestly, all the alcohol on the planet could disappear and it wouldn’t even garner a thought in my head. 🙂
Thanks, Irene! I’m pretty much with you on this one. Now if all the Diet Pepsi/Coke disappeared, I’d be very upset. LOL
The caffeine free diet cola syrups DID disappear. I’m so grateful to have finally found an alternative. I was in a world of hurt there for a while. Had to make my own. Just not the same!!!
Thank goodness this wasn’t an issue for me. The stores still have plenty of Diet Coke and Pepsi for sale…though they were limiting it for a while.
